Little Blog on the Prairie by Cathleen Davitt Bell

Gen's mom signs them up for a "wonderful" vacation. Instead of going to camp, spending time by the pool and hanging out with her girlfriends, Gen must go to Camp Frontier - a place where they will live as if it is 1890. No running water, no grocery stores, no electricity, and no indoor plumbing.
And worst of all, everyone must give up all modern-day gadgets - no iPod, no cell phone, and no up-to-date fashions.
However, Gen manages to sneak in her cell phone that helps her update her friends back home. Unknown to Gen, one of her friends begins to post her texts on a blog - and the blog becomes wildly popular. Will she be found out and her family expelled from Camp Frontier in shame?
I REALLY enjoyed this book. Fans of Little House on the Prairie will recognize some of the characters here. Remember Nellie? There's a little romance, much humor, and a really good story that kept me reading all of this book in one day.
