Hate List by Jennifer Brown

Valerie and her boyfriend Nick are sick of being bullied and vent their frustration by listing the students who harass them in a "hate list." Valerie never dreams Nick will take it any further, but he brings a gun to school and kills six students and a popular teacher. Did Valerie know about Nick's plan ahead of time?

This book is told from Valerie's point of view - shifting back and forth in time, and the reader lives through the shootings with Valerie and also experiences what her life is now like after the shootings.

This is an incredibly moving story that I think will have people thinking about bullying and its effects long after they finish the book.

5 stars  I think The Hate List by Jennifer Brown shows what a teen can go through and the issues we could face in the future. I also recommend this because it's about bullying and it makes you think.-
