Flip by Martyn Bedford

Imagine waking up in a strange room, in a strange house, in a strange body. Fourteen-year-old Alex wakes up and finds it's 6 months later than he remembers. He looks in the mirror and doesn't recognize the face that looks back.

When he goes down to breakfast, his "parents" call him Philip and act like there's is absolutely nothing wrong. His friends at school wonder why he is no longer good at lacrosse.

Is there anything Alex can do to prove who he really is? When he calls home, his parents think he is an imposter because their son (Alex) is in the hospital and has been in a coma for 6 months.

This is a fascinating book that both middle school boys and girls would enjoy! Let me know what you think ...
