Seeing Cinderella by Jenny Lundquist

Do you ever wonder what people are REALLY thinking when you ask  your friends questions like:
Do you like my new outfit?
Do you think that cute boy likes me?

What are teachers really thinking when you answer incorrectly for the third time in one class?

Well, you may not want to know!

Callie has a new pair of glasses that somehow enable her to "see" what people are really thinking. Her best friend isn't always so supportive, and the boy she has had a crush on forever, are not as nice as they first seem.

This was a fun, fast read that girls going into middle school should really like. And reading this, wasn't all fluff - there was a real message about friendship and self-confidence that I think all middle school students should know.
