How to Rock Braces and Glasses by Meg Haston

Do you know girls who have it all? They're popular, cute, and pretty much rule the school.

Well, that description fits Kacey Simon the main character in this funny and heart-felt novel. Kacey also has her own segment on the school's newscast called "Simon Says" where she offers her honest (and often very mean) advice to other students.

All is well in Kacey's world until she flips over backwards while on skates at her friend's birthday party. She ends up at the dentist's and is fitted with braces and headgear that leave her with a lisp-think "Kathey Thimon".

AND on top of the braces, Kacey has forgotton to put drops in her eyes and can't wear her contacts - in short she's a mess. She's gone from the Queen Bee to a nothing in the span of a few hours.

How to Rock Braces and Glasses is a story about friendship and loyalty and first crushes. It's both hilarious and heart-breaking. Middle school girls will love it!
